Who are Your Cheerleaders? Listen to Them!

Every team needs cheerleaders - men and women who motivate and encourage you to be your best self. People who see the best in you and call you to more than you thought you could be. Who are yours?

Can you identify five or more people that would line the sidelines of your life and shake their pom poms for your success? There may be more people than you realize that help support you in the various aspects of your life.

People like:

  • Your mom and dad
  • Your spouse
  • Your kids
  • Your pastor
  • Your bestie
  • Your mentor
  • Your coach
  • Your boss

Cheerleaders are vital for confidence. There are many aspects to life. That’s why you need access to a cheerleader to support you in all you do. The perfect person for the perfect reason in your life. There are many areas that we need support as we move through life. Take a look here:

The perfect person for the perfect reason

  • The person who calls you out
  • The person who listens to your crazy
  • The person who has guidance
  • The person who sees your vision
  • The person who knows your secrets
  • The person who shares your passions
  • The person who keeps you grounded

Having a cheerleader for each aspect of life is an excellent way to be all you can be and be confident. When someone is looking out for your best interest and helping you stay focused, there is a smaller chance things can go wrong.

It is equally important for you to be someone else’s cheerleader. Get behind the people you care about and help them reach their goals by cheering them on, too. In the same way you thrive when someone is rooting you on, you can return the energy and make someone else’s experience that much better.

Cool ways to be a cheerleader:

  • Be a mentor
  • Lead a scout troop
  • Sponsor a city league team
  • Attend your children’s activities
  • Date night
  • Be a Big Brother or Big Sister of America
  • Foster a child

There are many ways to be a cheerleader and make an impact in someone’s life. Get creative or just simply cheer where you are planted. Pay it forward what someone has done for you and bring your pom-poms to their party. You can be the person who makes all the difference in their life at the point they need it the most. Go Team!
