Small Purchases That Will Easily Make You Healthier

The secret to affecting effective change is to break your goals down into small manageable chunks. This way they become much more manageable and your chances of sticking at any given one increase hugely. At the same time though, by having more small goals instead of one big one, you will still find that over time they add up and the results are just as impressive (if not more so).

This is often referred to as kaizen in the self-development community and it's a very strategic and effective way to make goals actually happen.

But there are other similar strategies you can use too if you're looking for an effective way to train yourself and develop yourself. For instance, if you want to improve your health, then sometimes just making small simple purchases can make all the difference. Sometimes small purchases can make life so much easier and help you to feel so much better that they do nothing short of making life better. Read on and we'll look at some examples of small things you can buy to almost instantly start enjoying better health.

    • Microfiber towel – If you belong to a gym that doesn't supply towels then you'll know how frustrating it is to have to take one of your own then find a way to dry it in the changing rooms. Thus you might find you actually end up putting off going to the gym at all or just taking too long to go there. A microfiber towel is a towel that is very light and easy to throw in a gym bag and that dries almost instantly entirely on its own.

    • Daylight lamp – For those suffering with SAD a daylight lamp is an amazing item. The idea of these lamps is to create light that is a similar wavelength to natural sunlight, thereby helping you to feel more naturally awake and full of energy. The best ones work as alarms and simulate a rising sun in the morning to help you wake up feeling much more refreshed and healthy.

    • Jawbone UP – A Jawbone UP is a fitness tracker that can count your steps (making it easier to shoot for better step goals) as well as waking you up when you're in the lightest point in your sleep cycle with a light vibration around your wrist.

    • Gymnastic Rings – If you're looking for a way to get an amazing workout conveniently from home, get some gymnastic rings. This is a popular set.

      • Jump Rope- A jump rope is quick and easier to pack for traveling; it also provides a great workout.

What purchases have you made that make visiting your Physical Room easier and nicer?

I recently upgraded my Apple Watch and replaced my exercise sneakers...even my new insoles have added greatly to my experience. The most important part of visiting my Physical Room is that I do every single day. These daily practices will improve overall health and add to your longevity...it's a good thing!
