What Inspires Me Every Day

What Inspires Me Every Day? Here are 5 Ways I’m Inspired.

Inspiration can be found in many places, and for me, I’ve noticed 5 ways that I often turn to daily to help me align with my personal and professional goals. The philosophy of the Indian Proverb A House With Four Rooms is to do something daily for physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing which offers a plethora of ways to get inspired through the ripple effect.

Here are the 5 Ways I’m Inspired Every Day:

My purpose - having my daily tasks align to my purpose gives my life special meaning.

We don't always know what our purpose in life is. A sign that you are on the right path is when you find yourself doing something that brings you much happiness. After all, happiness is an inside job.

If we do not know what our purpose is, then how can we find it? It's about finding your strengths and your passions. We need to be honest with ourselves and figure out if we are on the right path or not. Once we find it, then we get that sense of happiness, fulfillment, and meaning in life.

We all have a purpose. And we need to find it. It's about finding your strengths and your passions. We need to be honest with ourselves and figure out if we are doing the things that align with our personal and professional passions. People often make the mistake of trying to please others instead of themselves, but in the end, one needs to do what makes them happy and do more of it.

Living my intentional life begins with my thoughts, feelings, and actions. I know that everything we do has consequences so I take the time to prepare by making purposeful decisions. For me, this was bringing my coaching practice online; now I have the ability to have a greater impact from my monthly membership for women reinventing their lives, this blog, and my private coaching practice.

Many of the people I work with in my Achieve with UNLIMITED Laser Coaching program are just like me…busy pursuing personal and professional goals. I’ve been told by many clients that they have tried therapy and have done the group and 1:1 life coaching, but it didn’t help them achieve what they desired. A matter of fact, a few clients have said that the time spent in sessions was valuable time they wanted to use for business, so, the Achieve with UNLIMITED Laser Coaching program was created.

A good book I'm reading on my commute to work, taking a break at lunch to read or catching up on some reading at home after a long day's work can inspire me.

Reading can be a good way to get inspired and learn. It’s not just a hobby, but purposeful research that can transform your life, and already it has made me a better person.

Reading can be a valuable way to spend your time. Reading has helped me feel more creative, inspired, and curious about the world. It has also helped me learn the importance of maintaining my mind by taking time to relax and do what I enjoy doing.

Try developing a morning practice of reading. For me, this includes “visiting” several books as part of my practice. I have devotionals I “visit” each morning that provide the seeds for me to nurture throughout my day as I reflect on what I’ve read. It’s a way for me to be more mindful of my thoughts.

One of the most important keys of a morning routine is reading. A morning practice can include anything from devotionals, to articles, to books. Reading provides the seeds for us to nurture and grow in our faith, knowledge, and confidence.

My favorite TV show and not-so-guilty pleasure guilty pleasures like reality TV or those trashy tabloids we all love!

Guilty pleasure is defined as an activity or interest that you know to be of bad quality, but you enjoy it anyway. Television can be mind-numbing, but it still has the power to be insightful. I enjoy watching the news, the latest comedy, and popular drama. The reality shows that I enjoy most are the competition shows like The Voice, America’s Got Talent, and American Idol.

Allowing myself to partake in a bit of television is one way for me to let my mind wander and entertain new ideas whether for writing, learning, or living.

Have you ever checked out YouTube? I find myself turning to YouTube more often to learn how-tos and get ideas about everything from household chores to traveling the country in an RV.

Not only do I watch others share on YouTube, with a business colleague, Renee Lowry, I’m involved in creating a channel called Coffee Chat: Redefining the Empty Nest to help those approaching or experiencing the next chapter of their parenting life.

Healthy living and cooking - it's been a personal journey for me since I've always loved food!

Cooking food is not just about spending hours in the kitchen. It is also about coming up with creative ideas and dishes that are easy to cook and delicious. One of my favorite dishes is a simple soup that I make every week. It combines ingredients that I have on hand, but it's really easy to make and delicious! I’m sure it will be one of the recipes in my new cookbook coming out soon.

Part of heathy living is exercising, and walking is my go to exercise. It’s a way for me to “visit” my physical, spiritual, and emotional rooms according to the Indian Proverb A House with Four Rooms…you can learn more with my book available on Amazon.

Traveling - it opened my eyes to how life could be so different (and so much more)!

Traveling is often seen as a luxury, but it is actually a great way to see how life can be so different from the one you live. I am not saying that you should travel for the sake of it, but instead use your travels as lessons on what life can be like if you try something new.

There is so much to learn from other cultures, traditions, and places…even as an armchair traveler you can learn a lot! Turn to travel shows, documentaries, and books to discover new places, people, food, and ideas. Traveling is an amazing way to explore the world.

These are just 5 ways I’m inspired each day to live an Intentional Life and follow the philosophy of A House With Four Rooms by doing something daily for my physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing.
