As I follow the philosophy of A House With Four Rooms, I've made a few discoveries that are worth sharing. So today's post contains some recommendations to help you "air" out YOUR four metaphorical rooms: physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual.

I do a lot of my shopping online. And my first big tip is that I use Ebates...Here's my link: ebates.com/r/GELATO38

When I shop Amazon, Walgreens, and other popular stores, I start with my Ebates link to earn cash back. This is particularly helpful when I'm buying things I need. The extra "savings" on items I plan to purchase anyway, certainly is welcomed. For example, I needed more makeup and eBates offer 12% back at Walgreens for my purchase, so I ordered from Walgreens. The same is true for my Amazon purchases. As a Prime member, I get the perks and I still get a percentage off my purchases!

Here are some of the products that I recommend. If you have recommendations or questions, let me know the comments!

PHYSICAL ROOM: I was a sun worshiper for many years. Now, I'm paying the price. Each year I have multiple places "frozen" off. I have also noticed changes in my skin as the years go by...it's much dryer. My dermatologist recommended I use CeraVe. I've noticed quite a difference in my skin, particularly my legs...which is good now that the weather is warmer and I'll be wearing shorts and skirts...I'm sure YOU will be too!

Try CeraVe and see if you get the same results I am.

As for my crazy curly dry hair, Innersense products were recommended by a business associate that's an expert in training others in cutting and caring for curly hair (Thank You, Scott!)  I love the products I've used. I have the shampoo, conditioner, and curl creme. If you have crazy hair, I definitely recommend the Innersense products. Let me know what you think...I bet you're going to LOVE it!

Mental Room: I do a lot of reading and research online. I use multiple products, but my 'go to" products is my Kindle Fire because I can get my email. search online, and read my Kindle books. I did purchase a nice protective cover for mine, and I like that it "feels" like I'm holding a book...I know, a bit old-fashioned, but I like it.

Some of the books I'm reading for FUN:

Emotional Room: I use many products that spill over to different categories and other areas of my life and the Emotional Room benefits! When I light a candle for meditation, listen to popular music, or have a book read "aloud" for me...these are all ways I like to cope after a long day. The easiest way I create the calming atmosphere I want is to ask Alexa to play my music. I must admit, I also ask Alexa for the weather, to tell me a joke, and to set an alarm when I need to be reminded of something.

I'm a big Yankee Candle fan. I have candles in every room of my house...even the bathrooms. I love the scents and the flicker of light that dances and catches my attention. I use it to remind me to enjoy life. I have lots of favorites: Sage and Citrus is one of my newer favorites, and I always love Home Sweet Home and Clean Linen.

Spiritual Room: I have many practices for my Spiritual Room because the benefits spill over to ALL areas of my life. I do my daily readings, meditation, and prayer practice. I love to do a Walking Meditation because it gives me the opportunity to commune with nature. When I'm training for a significant walk like the Camino de Santiago, I often wear my weighted vest. This practice gives me a "jumpstart" on my health and strength goals.

With each day, we make choices about our lives. Well, I suggest you be a connoisseur of life, savor life, and Design an Intentional Life.  One way I am committed to doing that for myself and others is by teaching, sharing, and living by example. I could treat the work I do like a job, but I really believe it is my "calling" and that brings more joy and meaning to my life.

I have created many courses over the years, and several are available right here on A House With Four Rooms website. I purposefully kept the costs low to make them available to more people. Can you expect change overnight, no...but, as you invest YOUR most valuable asset, your time, you will experience the shift and change that provides the momentum to continue on with your development.  So, why not just give the courses away to have a bigger impact? Because the investment of your time and thought is critical to your success and most people will not get around to it or develop any number of excuses not to do the work. Well,  studies also show that people will some "skin in the game," those that have made an investment of their money, no matter how much, make more opportunities for themeves to complete the material. The fees are the "skin in the game" to coax you to actually take part, to do the necessary exercises that can shift your understanding and open you up to new learning or reviewing what you already know so that you can connect, change, and grow.

I want to make a difference in your life, and to do that, I'm offering several ways for you to reconnect to your authentic self. This is YOUR life...I encourage you to make the choice, to take the chance, and make the change that can bring you more meaning, purpose, and joy.

Have you heard the story about the man walking down the cobble-stoned road in the middle-ages? Well, he came across a construction site. He asked the first man he came across what they were doing and the man replies, "I am laying brick."

He asked the next builder he came across the same question and he replied, "I am building a wall." And when he stopped to ask the third builder, the builder stood up, smiled, and replied, "I am building a cathedral to the Glory of God."

What are YOU building? You create your life with the power of your thoughts, and YOU are the creator of YOUR thoughts. Follow the 3 C's: choice, chance, and change. Make the choice to take a chance on change. Start designing and living YOUR Intentional Life.

Make sure to do something daily in YOUR House of FOUR Rooms!

Cheers!

Lisa
