The POWER of WHY

Getting in touch with your deepest thoughts, values, and purpose has been foundational to my teaching practice for over the last twenty-five years. There is so much POWER when you know your WHY...for everything you want to do.

When I was invited to speak for the Women of Wisdom International Summit, I was pleased to share my talk, and then, when asked to collaborate on a book to inspire other women to take the leap in starting a business, I jumped at the opportunity. 

The group decided on the title together...The Power of Why: Why 23 Women Took the Leap to Start Their Own Business. In three weeks time, not only did each women write her chapter, but the book was edited and formatted, and made available on Amazon where it became an International Best-Seller. Imagine, the POWER these 23 women had by working together.

With the book’s success, the Women of Wisdom Movement has created a huge kindness ripple that continues to inspire and encourage other women. And another book project came together: The Power of Why: Why 28 Women Created Online Courses and Why You Should Too!

As a course developer, I was thrilled to contribute once again, and along with a colleague, Wendy H. Jones, we edited the book for formatting and structure while keeping the voices of the international authors. And once again, The Power of Why book 2 became an International Bestseller. 

We all have a story attached to everything we do, and when we reflect and analyze our story, we can uncover the WHY. In my coaching practice, I help my clients uncover their purpose and that has a direct connection to their personal WHY. And when you’re living from a place of purpose, your life is richer with meaning...you’re richer.

As the end of the year approaches, my clients are doing a lot of work on their personal and professional vision for 2021. They are discovering their own POWER of WHY...and setting their intentions; we’re designing the outcomes they desire and developing the ACTION STEPS that will allow them to achieve their goals.

My clients aren’t the only ones doing this work...I’m doing it myself. As the year comes to a close, I’m announcing another book collaboration...365 Days of Gratitude (available at Amazon) and will be announcing the 3rd book in The Power of Why series (pre-order scheduled to be available 12/22).

Over Black Friday, I opened my scheduling calendar for new clients in Achieve With Unlimited Laser Coaching (6 and 12-week private coaching packages are unavailable until mid-January on a limited basis), and A Pilgrimage to Self Lifestyle Coaching Membership continues to welcome new members to the self-paced program. 

For 2021, I will be offering a new writing course and publishing opportunity with Pages with Purpose. I will continue my personal and professional development, participate in several mastermind groups, and have booked several podcasts, guest blogging opportunities, and a speaking engagement. My calendar of activities and events excites me, but it isn’t limiting me! I’ve been working on my 2021 SELF-PORTRAIT Vision Board and have loaded it with dream achievements, personal values, purpose, and meaning. 

I know 2020 has been a crazy year with the pandemic, but for me, it’s allowed me to invest in myself even more, expand my business, and set a direction for my writing career.
