Divorce Care 101

There is an Indian Proverb or axiom that say that everyone is a house with four rooms, a physical, mental, an emotional, and a spiritual. Most of us tend to live in one room most of the time but, unless we go into every room every day, even if only to keep it aired, we are not a complete person.

-Rumor Godden

Divorce Care 101 with A House With Four Rooms is a 5-week program that supports your process of healing from the traumatic and heartbreaking emotions of separation and divorce.

A House With Four Rooms follows the philosophy of the Indian Proverb by doing something daily for physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. It is when we decide what activities and practices to participate in that we begin to be intentional in our lives.

Designing an Intentional Life starts with having a solid foundation in which to build, and the intention of the Divorce Care 101 is to CHALLENGE you to lay that foundation in your own life. When you make a choice to do something daily in each of your "four rooms," you are living on purpose...you take control of your own life.

Divorce Care 101 has been created to introduce you to some of the essential daily practices that will TRANSFORM your life when you commit yourself to Designing an Intentional Life

Each of five weeks the Divorce Care 101 will focus on one of the four rooms: physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual for complete well-being, as well as offer strategies to reconnect to YOU...and your authentic self. Topics will include the PATHS to healing, dealing with anger, stress, and other emotions during a separation or divorce.

You will learn practices that you can easily implement to accelerate the process of Designing your Intentional Life and moving on with your new life.

And at the end of the Divorce Care 101, I'll open an opportunity for you to continue your journey with A Pilgrimage to Self Lifestyle Coaching Membership to guide you on your journey.

For now, if you take the time to assess your current life circumstances, you will quickly understand that your life is a product of every choice you've made up to this point and your circumstances didn't quite happen overnight. This is one of the main reasons I created A House With Four Rooms and A Pilgrimage to Self...I've learned from experience, and I understand your hurts, emotions, and the painful experiences associated with separation and divorce.

For example, if you have neglected your Physical Room, you might find that a new regimen of diet and exercise is in order. You can start by making the daily changes during the seminar, but know that the results that you desire will take some time. You must make a commitment to your practice, and when you do, you will see the results you desire.

A practice of "visiting" the Mental Room can be the easiest of all the metaphorical rooms. For many of us, learning something new each day is an automatic process, but adopting the philosophy of purposefully seeking out learning experiences daily gets quickly tossed aside with the demands and chaos of everyday life.

Many that join Divorce Care 101 experience trouble in their Emotional Rooms. For some, they spend way too much time in there and neglect their other rooms; and then there are those that avoid the Emotional Room altogether. The key is finding your balance and healing...you are on a journey to restore your hope and rebuild your life.

And then there are those people feeling lost and unconnected to the world around them; they manage to occupy every moment with the noise of one kind or another. Visiting the Spiritual Room isn't necessarily practicing any formal religion or doctrine, but it is connecting to your Divine energy, Spirit, the Universe, God, or whatever name you choose. Having strategies to "air" out your Spiritual Room allows you to be reflective, thoughtful, and calm. This experience of peace then overflows to every area of your life.

Remember, YOU have the power to Discover, Design, and Develop your own Intentional Life. The five weeks are an important introduction to living intentionally and on purpose. You are reconnecting to YOU...the healing process has begun and will continue as you take each step on this journey.

I look forward to introducing you to A House With Four Rooms and some of the strategies, practices, and techniques of "airing" out your four rooms for physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being; the intent is to move from adversity to becoming whole again and feeling like a better person.

At the end of Divorce Care 101, you'll have the opportunity to continue your sacred journey by becoming a Pilgrim with A Pilgrimage to Self Lifestyle Coaching Membership; it's not necessary to walk this journey alone.

It's important to rebuild and heal from within; the weekly lessons are meant to provide focus as you build your foundation in which to discover, design, and develop YOUR Intentional Life.

Don't try to go through separation and divorce alone. It's time to take the steps on the PATHS of healing; Divorce Care 101 can support you and provide you with the foundation that supports your healing on your journey of recovery!

Until next time...

Cheers

Lisa
