A House With Four Rooms on Amazon

A House With Four Rooms is about following the Indian Proverb by doing something daily for your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing. I've been following this philosophy for years.

I often talk about writing, whether it's this blog, courses, or my memoir about the lessons learned while hiking The French Way,  or Camino Frances, across Norther Spain and how it led me to develop my Lifestyle Coaching membership, A Pilgrimage to Self.

I have shared my routines for my Physical Room, and I even shared my health story of breaking my leg and physical therapy. In our private Facebook group, we are running a Physical Room Challenge, and for Lent, I've shared that I am recycling and decluttering by removing one item or more per day.

Following the Indian Proverb, I also do something in my Mental Room each day for complete wellbeing. For example, I'm a life-long learner. As a lifelong learner I read and try to learn something new every single day. I do research, listen to audio broadcasts, and podcasts to expand my knowledge.

For my Emotional Room, I typically participate in activities that allow me assimilate what is going on in my life, my community, and the world. My journaling practice allows me to reflect on my feelings and gives me the coping skills to deal with the different situations one faces in life.

I have several practices in my Spiritual Room that I do each day, including my prayer, meditation, and reading practices. I also find participating in community services and giving back to my community a way to "air" out my Spiritual Room.

Often, the activities we choose "air" out more than one of our metaphorical rooms. For instance, when you choose to take a walk in nature, it helps "air" out your emotional , physical, and spiritual rooms.

With this in mind, I enjoy creative activities that "air" out my metaphorical rooms. I enjoy quilting, sewing, and designing; I'm also inspired by listening to music, and I have designed some t-shirts for A House With Four Rooms...one inspired by my pilgrimage and a song, "Go Find Your Solace," written by a friend, Di Albright and sung by Backroads Trio.

SO...

A House With Four Rooms now has some select apparel available on Amazon...take a look...

I hope you enjoy!

Until next time...what activities are YOU participating in to "air" out YOUR four rooms?

Cheers!

Lisa

The life philosophy of A House With Four Rooms suggests thinking of yourself as being four rooms: physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual rooms. It advocates for doing something daily for your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
