If your life has been anything like mine, you’ve felt the need to buckle up for the rollercoaster ride of emotions, especially during this pandemic. Don’t get me wrong, there has also been a lot to be grateful for, and I actively count my daily blessings. When I do encounter a tough day, I recall the times I was challenged and successfully found the light at the end of the tunnel, whether it was healing from childhood trauma, abuse, divorce, an empty nest, or the loss of my son from Covid-19. The secret to surviving these events has been my reliance on the Indian Proverb A House With Four Rooms.
The routines, rituals, and habits I adhere to have nourished my physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing. It’s how I’ve survived, moved on, and moved forward with my life. I’m also blessed to have a community of gracious, encouraging, and supportive people such as yourself. As my mentor, Stu McLaren often says, “We are better together.”
